So this is moi…well, not this exact picture, but it was just too fabulous to ignore. I’m a writer with big dreams of becoming a published author…a Best Selling Author at that.I have the life’s ambition to finish majors in English and Law…maybe get my doctorate if the mood suits me. Truth be told, though, I really only want to write the stories in my head and own my own bookstore..or two…ok, maybe three…I don’t think that’s over doing it. I started my life in writing with songs. I kind of grew out of that though and recently tried my hand at poetry and short stories. I liked it but I’m just too long winded to truly enjoy it. I prefer the slow build up that a novel gives, so I think I’ll stick with that. For now I’m working on the third installment of my first series of novels. None of them are published yet, but I’m plugging away at making that happen.
I’m married to the most wonderful man in the world–even if he can be a pain in the ass, but that just adds to his charm.
I’m headstrong–possibly to a fault–loud, opinionated, smart just as much as smart-mouthed, goofy and some may even call me funny. I love reading–I’m a huge Bookworm, and writing is in my blood, as much a necessary part of me as breathing. My pen–or as of lately, my keyboard–are merely an extension of my arm (even if it is detachable).
I dabble in photography and especially love to emphasize all the beauty, as well as the flaws, of the woman in black and white. Sexuality, desires, fantasies, and our fear of the encapsulating hold they have on our being are my current study; my Muse and my Marquise De Sade.
Ever the child in need of constant learning for stagnation brings insanity and the quiet still of mind and body is like the torturous prison of childhood manners scolded upon the young to behave in public by the mother hen, I soak in all that I can around me, letting it stew in the soup of my mind’s inspiration.
